Virgil and Beatrice

The last time I drew these two characters, it was only a few days since I got my tablet. For a project in one of my graphic design classes, I needed to create character and background designs and then present them in an illustrated story and/or scene from a game. For the project, I used my characters which would fit in a realistic setting and a romantic comedy story.

For the first time ever, I created backgrounds with lighting, shading and gradients. The climax and resolution of the story would take place inside the kitchen of a cafe so I decided to show that here.
